Spring and summer brides who are still conflicted about what color to dress their bridesmaids in may now have their answer. As it turns out, the Pantone Color Institute, the global authority on color trends for designers around the world, has proclaimed their pretty pick for 2011- honeysuckle.
While this may conjure images of different shades, it turns out this specific color is none other than a deep, rosy pink.
“In times of stress, we need something to lift our spirits. Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going – perfect to ward off the blues,” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, told Boston.com. She also went on to explain that the hue is so beloved because it’s related to red – the most energetic and alive color of the rainbow.
Girls who are planning a wedding and are conflicted about their color scheme to go with may want to take this as a sign. Almost every lady out there looks incredible in light, airy pink!
