It’s safe to say that most couples planning a winter wedding likely consider getting hitched on Valentine’s Day. After all, why not exchange vows on one of the most romantic days of the year?
According to Glamour.com, brides-to-be should seriously consider this before booking a wedding venue, as the price of floral arrangements can go through the roof.
“Couples have to pay exorbitantly high prices for fresh flowers if they choose to make their anniversary on a Hallmark holiday (the same is true for Mother’s Day weddings!),” the expert wrote in the news outlet.
Another reason not to say “I do” on V-Day? Disgruntled guests. Wedding invitees who were hoping to spend a quiet evening with one another might be peeved at having to give up an evening alone.
In the end, the choice is up to brides and grooms. Still, wouldn’t it be great to have two special days with your future hubby instead of having them both fall on February 14?
