Perfect Wedding Guide’s Great Diamond Dash Bridal Show on Sunday, October 21, at the Albuquerque Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa was a huge success! The day consisted of a very enlightening Q&A session from local wedding experts, a New York fashion week worthy fashion show, and five lucky brides diving into a wedding cake in search of a diamond necklace. We’ve never had so many competitive brides. It even turned into a cake fight!

We were very lucky to have the New Mexico Wedding Professionals at the event schooling us on the ins and outs of planning the perfect wedding. Empire Strings (a local string quartet) were music to our ears. They set the lively tone of the event by playing during registration.
The fashion show was styled by Darlene with Bridal Elegance and Mr. TuxFormal Wear. Each piece showcased remarkable examples of the hottest wedding trends to date. The looks were topped off with gorgeous bridal bouquets provided by Charlotte’s Flowers, stunning hair and makeup provided by Bliss Salon & Spa, and dazzling jewelry provided by Premier Designs by Kris. Classic Party Rentals provided the stage draping and upgraded linens, which gave the space a very alluring feel.

demolish a truly delectable looking cake provided by ABC Cake shop and Bakery but it was all in great fun, especially for bride –to- be, Samantha Wintermute, who was lucky enough to discover the diamond necklace! None of the lucky ladies left empty handed as the cake also contained a $200 gift certificate to Bridal Elegance by Darlene, a manicure and pedicure courtesy of Bliss Salon and Spa, a $500 gift certificate to King Mobile Music, and a gift certificate for a complimentary engagement session and one 8 x10 print courtesy of Kevin’s Photography– who was also there to capture the fun and excitement of the afternoon.
