Grant and Andrea woke to a soft blanket of glistening snow, while a steady flow of snowflakes quietly fell to the ground last winter. With the feeling one has on Christmas morning, the same feeling swept across Grant and Andrea as they overlooked the winter wonderland before tying the knot at the beautiful Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm.
As the morning turned to afternoon, the snowy clouds drifted into the horizon and the typical blue skies of New Mexico broke through to display the gleaming rays of sunshine, gently melting the snow to leave a fresh layer of dew just in time for their ceremony.
After they said “I do” under the Grand Portal of La Quinta, with its towering columns and large fresco, Mr. and Mrs. Britt partook of a gourmet dinner in the Grand Ballroom, specially prepared on sight by the amazing chefs at Los Poblanos. Afterward, they settled near a cozy fire in the historic library to celebrate their marriage as they shared cake with family and friends.
Before the night came to a close, however, Grant had one more surprise up his sleeve. Along with his a cappella group, he serenaded his beautiful new wife with romantic songs to start their new marriage on the right tune.
From the enchanting ivy sweeping over the property to the roaring fireplaces, we knew that Los Poblanos would bring an organic, warm and romantic feel to our intimate winter wedding. The old-world charm surrounded by such natural beauty made it the perfect venue. We will never forget waking up at the inn the morning of our wedding to find a blanket of snow covering the ground with a back drop of earthy greens. It was breathtakingly beautiful and completely set the tone for the entire day. The staff at Los Poblanos was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring not a single detail was overlooked which made for an enjoyable experience. From the beginning we wanted our guests to be enveloped in an atmosphere of simplistic elegance and Los Poblanos effortlessly made that possible. — Andrea, Bride
