“Abigail + Austin didn’t let COVID-19 stop their beautiful day from happening. They had to switch up from a big wedding in Albuquerque to a small gathering in Taos and I completely fell in love with the colorful landscape of Northern New Mexico. This small wedding was simple and beautiful and left me smiling days after. It was a great reminder that weddings do not have to be extravagant to be perfect.”

I recently travelled up to Northern New Mexico for a little mountain getaway, and WOW, was it the best choice I could have made for myself. There is just something so special about this time of year in the Land of Enchantment – like the little pockets of golden trees along the roadside, cool, mountain air, and friendly people inviting you inside for a cup of coffee. There’s really nothing quite like it.
When it comes to our local engaged couples finding solace among the ever-so-alluring North, there is no shortage of stunning weddings to be had. For Abigail + Austin, one of our favorite spots, Taos, became the backdrop for their perfect day. When we talk about the landscape over and over again, it must mean that there is something so magical about it, and I think the photo gallery provided by the lovely Coryn Kiefer Photography says it all. From greenery to vast open spaces, Taos, New Mexico was the best choice that this beautiful couple could have made!
Although the sweet couple had to change almost every single plan they had made for their wedding, two things that remained the same + stronger than ever, was their love for each other, and the amazing connection they made with their photographer. The Wedding Collective ladies know Coryn, and if one thing is for certain, it’s that she knows how to turn every situation into a beautiful one. Come rain or shine, pandemic or not, love + great wedding vendors are always going to be there for you!
“In life, we have found that the only thing that is certain is change. COVID-19 changed every plan we had dreamt of and created new challenges to overcome. But the one thing that was constant was our photographer, Coryn, who was there with us throughout the whole process. She effortlessly drove 3 hours and offered to stay for as long as needed to make sure our pictures came out amazing. We’re truly blessed to have had such a magical day captured by this tremendous artist. We’re forever obsessed with our pictures.”
