Can you believe how fast this year has flown by?!

It seems like just yesterday that we were basking in the sunshine and swooning over summer weddings. And now we’re here, counting down the days to holiday proposals, snowy honeymoons, and cozy, love-filled moments by the fire.

But before we get lost reminiscing over this season of weddings and wonder, we have one more burst of magic to close out 2023 — the last wedding show of the year!

For seasoned wedding pros and engaged couples across the state, the buzz for the Diamond Dash has been building for months. Now, just a few weeks away, the hype has reached a fever pitch as lovebirds gear up to meet the creatives who make wedding dreams come true around these parts.

But wait — maybe you’re new here! Maybe you’re recently engaged, just starting the wedding planning process, and have no idea what this dash for diamonds is all about.

Maybe you’ve never heard about the jaw-dropping, day-of discounts and delights that can’t be found anywhere else in our desert state. Or the $500 in Wedding Collective cash that the first 200 couples get to spend on wedding services. Or the breathtaking displays that showcase the skills of New Mexico’s elite professionals.

Don’t worry, new friend, we’re gonna give you the whole scoop.

The Diamond Dash was first designed — many, many years ago — as a way to simplify and streamline the wedding planning process. By gathering the top tier of wedding florists, photographers, DJs, officiants, designers, caterers, bakers, and unique treat-makers all under one roof, engaged couples could meet and enlist their dream team of professionals.

Then, just because we wanted it to be fun, too, came the diamonds. With giveaways galore — plus delectable bites and signature drinks — the actual dash for diamonds is just one way to save on and savor the wedding planning process. But it is the most exciting (and deliciously messy) one by far!

This year, like every year, 5 lucky lovebirds will be chosen from the crowd for their chance to win free diamond jewelry hidden inside a larger-than-life cake baked by The Cake Boutique.

Before and after the cake-diving extravaganza, engaged couples will meet wedding professionals face-to-face while scooping freebies, peeping the hottest in wedding formalwear, and maximizing their wedding budget.
