Shauna and I had a full day in Santa Fe yesterday! We met with 5 businesses in the hopes of growing this fabulous resource for brides.
We started the day off by meeting with Lindsey Powers at the Hilton of Santa Fe. She treated us to breakfast at the El Canon Restaurant in the hotel. We found out that she is engaged and planning a wedding which of course made me and Shauna very happy.
After a great discussion of possibly hosting our 2012 Santa Fe Bridal Show we headed to Mariposa Body Sculpting. The owners Kim and Inez are very friendly people who are excited about spreading the word to brides about their new non-surgical laser that shrinks fat. You can lose 6-8 inches of your waist in just 3 weeks. What a great way for brides to get wedding ready quickly! They also are now a distribution location for the Perfect Wedding Guide. Which makes us well over 270 distribution locations!
We continued our day by meeting with Carol the owner of Amanda’s Flowers. She is an expert in the wedding industry and we are proud that she will now be an advertiser with the Perfect Wedding Guide.
Starbucks was our next stop. We had coffee with Frank Valdez, owner of Conceptual Image. We shared ideas on ways to reach brides and provide a great product. We came to the conclusion that referrals and reviews are very important to brides when selecting a wedding vendor. Frank has such a great personality which is sure to be a great aspect when hiring a wedding photographer.
Our last meeting was with Laureen Pepersack, owner of Rev. Digital Video. She was telling us about a wedding that she videotaped this past weekend in Taos. The bride was a destination bride from Texas who wanted a wedding in Northern NM because of its rich culture and unique beauty.
Thank you Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza, Mariposa Body Sculpting, Amanda’s Flowers, Conceptual Image, and Rev. Digital Video for meeting with us.
Santa Fe is filled with great wedding businesses and we are lucky to be able to represent many of these businesses in the Perfect Wedding Guide.
